The EMAG VTC 250 DUO is designed for automated processing of shafts and shaft-shaped workpieces. The DUO concept combines two processing stations in one machine and enables the combination of several manufacturing steps within an automated sequence.

Depending on the equipment, turning operations can be combined with finishing, cutting to length, centering, as well as drilling and milling operations. The workpiece grippers integrated into the tool turret handle the workpiece transport. The vertical design supports free chip fall; the machine bed made of MINERALIT provides high vibration damping.

The machine is particularly suitable for the serial production of shafts and can be used as a standalone unit or within a linked production line.
